Australian tennis star Alex de Minaur and British player Katie Boulter have announced their engagement. The couple shared the joyful news on Instagram, with Boulter displaying a sparkling diamond ring on her finger. They have been in a relationship since March 2020.
De Minaur, currently ranked No. 9 in the ATP singles standings, expressed his happiness, noting that Boulter had initially declined his first proposal. However, his persistence led to her eventual acceptance. The couple has received warm congratulations from fellow tennis professionals, including Eva Lys and Thanasi Kokkinakis.
Boulter, who holds the No. 24 spot in the WTA rankings, has achieved ten singles titles in her career. De Minaur, with approximately $15 million in career earnings, is poised to compete against Boulter in the upcoming United Cup 2025, as both Great Britain and Australia are placed in the same group.
This engagement marks a significant milestone for the couple, who have been a prominent presence in the tennis world both individually and as partners.
