Inter Miami CF has announced the acquisition of goalkeeper Rocco Ríos Novo on a one-year loan from Argentine club Lanús, with an option for a permanent transfer at the end of the loan period. The 22-year-old, who holds dual Argentine and American citizenship, is expected to bolster Inter Miami's goalkeeping options for the upcoming Major League Soccer season.
Ríos Novo began his professional career with Lanús before moving to the United States, where he played for Atlanta United 2 and made appearances for Atlanta United in MLS. He then joined Phoenix Rising FC on loan, where he played a pivotal role in the team's 2023 USL Championship title, earning the Finals MVP award.
Internationally, Ríos Novo has represented Argentina at various youth levels, including the U15, U16, and U17 teams. His experience and performances have made him a promising addition to Inter Miami's roster as they prepare for the 2025 season.
