The Punjab and Haryana High Court has recently announced recruitment opportunities for two key positions: Judgment Writers and Peons.
Judgment Writers
The court is seeking to fill 33 vacancies for the role of Judgment Writers. Eligible candidates must have completed their graduation from a recognized university and possess proficiency in computer operations, including word processing and spreadsheets. The age limit for applicants is between 21 and 30 years.
The selection process comprises a written examination, a computer proficiency test, and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a pay scale of ₹10,300 to ₹34,800 with a Grade Pay of ₹4,800. The application period is from September 10 to October 1, 2024.
Peons
Additionally, the court is recruiting for 300 Peon positions. Candidates should have completed at least middle school education but should not hold qualifications higher than 10+2 from a recognized board. The age requirement is set between 18 and 35 years.
The selection process includes a written test and a physical endurance test. The written test consists of 50 multiple-choice questions covering general knowledge, awareness, current affairs, and numerical ability. The physical test includes an 800-meter race, long jump, and high jump. The application period for this recruitment is from August 25 to September 20, 2024.
