Samsung has introduced the Galaxy S25 Ultra, highlighting significant advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) integration. The device is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, complemented by 12GB of RAM and storage options up to 1TB. The 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display offers an adaptive refresh rate between 1 and 120Hz, with a peak brightness of 2600 nits.
A notable design enhancement includes the transition to rounded corners and flat edges, aligning the S25 Ultra more closely with the aesthetics of the S series. The camera system has been upgraded, featuring a 200MP wide-angle lens and a new 50MP ultra-wide lens, enhancing detail capture in every shot. The device maintains a 5000mAh battery, supporting 45W wired and 15W wireless charging.
In terms of software, the Galaxy S25 Ultra introduces One UI 7.0, incorporating AI enhancements such as cross-app actions and suggested routines. The S Pen, while retaining its core functionality, no longer includes Bluetooth capabilities. Additionally, Bixby has been replaced by Google Gemini as the default virtual assistant.
Samsung emphasizes sustainability by incorporating recycled materials into the device's construction. The Galaxy S25 Ultra is available for pre-order starting at $1,299, with official sales commencing on February 7, 2025.
