Suzuki Motorcycle India has introduced the Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel, marking its first flex-fuel motorcycle in the Indian market. Launched at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, this model is priced at ₹2,16,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Engine and Performance
The Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel is equipped with a 249cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine. It delivers 27.9 PS of power at 9,300 rpm when running on E85 fuel and 27.2 PS on E20 fuel, with a peak torque of 22.5 Nm at 7,300 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. To accommodate the use of E85 fuel, Suzuki has upgraded components such as the fuel injector, fuel pump, and fuel filter.
Design and Features
Visually, the motorcycle retains the design elements of the standard Gixxer SF 250. It is available in two color options: Metallic Mat Black No. 2/Metallic Mat Bordeaux Red and Metallic Mat Black No. 2. The bike features an LED headlight and tail-light, a side-stand engine cut-off, and a fully digital LCD instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, offering turn-by-turn navigation and call/SMS alerts.
Market Positioning
With the introduction of the Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel, Suzuki aims to provide an alternative for environmentally conscious riders. This model aligns with the company's efforts to promote carbon-neutral transportation solutions in India.
